The upcoming operating system Android Nougat comes with a new security feature that will prevent ransomware attacks targeting the unlock code.
Ransomware is known to not only hit computer systems, but also mobile devices. One of the Android ransomware uses τη μέθοδο Επαναφορά code access to change the device lock code. The resetpassword() feature first came with API version 8, and has been used continuously by Android ever since.
The password reset method with the resetpassword () will still be available in the upcoming Android Nougat, but Google has decided to improve security to limit attacks targeting the feature.

Note: This API has been restricted by N only to the admins of the device and not to the owner's profile. The password from now can only be changed if there is no password.
In most cases, apps will be able to use the resetpassword on the device if no password is already set.
This makes the ransomware attacks using the useless method on devices running Android Nougat.
