Released the first Android O preview. What's new?

Η μόλις κυκλοφόρησε το επόμενο επιδόρπιο της: Το Android O είναι από σήμερα διαθέσιμο σαν έκδοση s for developers and not only.

We do not know much about his new version Android, as growth is still at a very early stage, but we seem to see several parameterization changes. Some of these are worth mentioning:Android O

  • Picture-in-picture mode, allowing you to watch videos while using other applications.
  • Too many color options for developers to make better use of mobile appearance. Color options include AdobeRGB, Pro Photo RGB, DCI-P3, and more.
  • Postpone notifications so they can reappear at a later time.
  • Adaptive which can change shapes depending on the device (circle and square, for example).
  • Support for visual effects for Android animations.
  • Applications will be able to pin shortcuts for specific actions. B.C. an icon that leads directly to a particular job will be pinned to your home screen.

A full list of changes is available here.

Unlike last year, when Google launched the Android Beta program, the it won't release Android O to the general public initially (the public beta will be released in May or June).

However, if you want to install it, you need to manually shake it. You should also use one of the few supported devices, which are Nexus 5x, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel C, Pixel, and Pixel XL.

The public beta as mentioned above is expected to reach May, and the final version of O in the third quarter of the year (probably with the next Pixel device release).

Meanwhile, if you are in the know or brave enough you can download the Android O preview version from Google developers.
