The hacktivist group Anonymous has launched a campaign titled #OpTrump, με στόχο τη απενεργοποίηση της ιστοσελίδας του προεδρικού υποψηφίου Donald Trump.
Anonymous says they start the business #OpTrump as revenge for his racist anti-Muslim propaganda after the San Bernardino massacre. Informingly, Trump called for a ban on Muslims to enter the United States.
According to the International Business Times, the attack on the trumptowerny.com site so far has been done with DDoS that lasted for several hours on Thursday night.
The website continued to exist online via a Cloudflare cached copy, but after a few hours, it finally crashed completely. At the time this article is being written, company Cloudflare has activated an anti-DDoS service and the website is online again.
