Anonymous cheats start a new campaign called OpAreva. The main goal of the business is Areva, a French public multinational that extracts uranium in several countries, such as Nigeria, Gabon, Kazakhstan and the Central African Republic.
Activists are unhappy with the fact that the company earns large sums of money through its activities in these countries, but does little to help these countries as well as the people.
The hacktivists are particularly concerned about the situation in Niger. The Anonymous they call on journalists to investigate Areva's activities and expose the company's wrongdoings.
"Nigeria is already in a precarious and tense situation and Anonymous will not remain indifferent while Areva unleashes the same hell we have seen in the Central African Republic, and in Gabon"
It depends on who gets involved in this business, but we will most likely see DDOS attacks as well as leaks data the next few days.
