The hacktivist group Anonymous has launched a series of attacks (OpWorldCup) targeting various government websites in Brazil to protest the hospitality of the 2014 World Cup.
The business was named #OpWorldCup, and it already has some victims, such as its Globo TV Brasil systems governmentς της Βραζιλίας, την company Cemig Telecommunications και το Περιφερειακό Εκλογοδικείο του Αμαζονίου.
Among the data that has been leaked from the systems of the organizations and companies that have been "hit" by the hacktivists there are, in addition to the names and email addresses post officeh, encrypted passwords and phone numbers.
Anonymous reports have received 450 email addresses and passwords from government employees, 34.000 emails, full names and telephone numbers from Eletronorte, a subsidiary of Brazilian Eletrobras, from Eletronorte (Centrais Elétricas do Norte do Brasil SA).
