Just recently its developers Arch Linux managed to upgrade to the stable kernel of the operating system to Linux kernel version 4.6.4.
It was announced four days ago, on July 11, as a very small maintenance update that makes a total of 36 changes archives, with 216 insertions and 98 deletions.

After four days of testing, the developers of Arch Linux are able to deploy the new 4.6.4 kernel to the fixed distribution channels, and you can upgrade your installation immediately with the "pacman -Syu" command on your terminal.
If you use the LTS version of the kernel on your Arch Linux operating system, the Linux kernel 4.4.15 LTS is released, and it is also available in the fixed repositories of the distribution.
