Tablet and laptop PC in a machine, is the "recipe" that Asus followed in Transformer Book T100, its new "hybrid" model already available in the Greek market.
The T100 can function like any other laptop (netbook to be exact, due to its small size), but having a button that allows the 10,1'' touch screen which integrates all the subsystems to be detached, so that usesit's like a tablet.
Its advantages do not stop in its double "character", since it also comes preloaded Windows 8.1 of Microsoft, which means that it is compatible with all the software που έχει αναπτυχθεί για τις παλιότερες εκδόσεις του λειτουργικού της αμερικανικής εταιρείας. Of course, this recipe means some concessions, such as the fact that the keyboard is de facto small, or that the screen has a 16: 9 ratio, making it relatively inconvenient when used as a tablet vertical orientation. Also, the touchpad is not very easy to use, and although the screen is satisfying for color rendering and viewing angles, the brightness could be larger - especially for outdoors.
On the contrary, the Asus' hybrid is packed with memory 2 GB RAM and quad-core Intel processor Atom Z3740 (Bay Trail) fourth generation. Therefore, although it can not be compared to Intel Core processor performance, it is fast enough to manage comfortably with all applications of the modern user interface and software for Windows 7 or older versions - with the exception of the very demanding programs and games.
To save it for mobile devices to report the, there is one hard drive SSD 32 or 64 GB, depending on the model, with the free part actually being quite a bit less. However, it does accept cards microSD, with the socket being on the screen, like the micro port HDMI and microUSB, for connecting external hard drives.
