Every month, independent IT security institute AV-Test publishes a list of its best antivirus software platformto him Android. Today it published the results for the previous month.
The company evaluated 25 applications security for Android, focusing on realistic test scenarios covering the areas of Protection, Usability as well as the capabilities of each application.
Interestingly, all of the applications that participated in the tests reacted quite well since they were able to identify more than 95% of the malware samples used.
The average detections was 99,5% and the number of false positives was very low.
According to test results, mobile security applications such as Kaspersky Lab's Antiy, Avira, Baidu, ESET, G Data and Internet Security reached the 100% protection, and were at the top of the list of the best applications used on devices Android.
Each application was evaluated independently on the basis of the three factors mentioned above.
For example, in the case of Antiy, it seemed that performance did not affect the battery life. This application does not slow down the device during normal use, nor does it generate too much traffic.
