For example, 65% of companies used digital security advisory services, 49% of businesses paid to modify their IT infrastructure, 46% of victims had to turn to lawyers, and 41% turned to risk managers. And these are just the most common expenses.
The information about DDoS attacks and the subsequent disruption of work they often take on a public character, which adds to the risks. 38% of companies suffered reputational damage as a result of a DDoS attack, and nearly one in three affected organizations had to seek the assistance of corporate communications consultants.
