The operating system developers BackBox Linux announced the release and immediate availability of BackBox Linux version 4.5, which promises a new kernel and several updated packages.
According to the release notes, BackBox Linux 4.5 comes preinstalled with the Linux 4.2 kernel and adds various new and special tools, such as Automotive Analysis and OpenVAS, which promise to improve overall system performance.
“In this release we have some special new features included to keep BackBox up to date with the latest developments in the global better safety. Tools like Automotive Analysis and OpenVAS will make the difference.” the announcement says.
Of course, it is worth mentioning that the new version includes many new hacking tools, and others that have been updated in their latest releases.
The new OS contains: wpscan, hashcat, knockpy, nmap, guymanager, zaproxy, binwalk, set, phishing-frenzy, sqlmap, can-utils, and apktool.
