When a Japanese mobile phone company Softbank decided to release the robot Pepper first managed to dispose of the 1000 units that existed for 1.600 dollars once in a minute.
According to Engadget, Softbank announced today that it will staff a mobile sales outlet exclusively with the Pepper robot from the end of March.
Sopftbank Pepper will be able to give advice, and discuss with customers before signing the contract.
Pepper is powered by a cloud-based AI for voice recognition and running applications. The robot is capable of mimicking human body language.
Softbank will run the store in question only for a limited period of time on an experimental basis. But the company announced that it will roll out Pepper bots to around 2.000 stores until the end of February.
