Beta.ey: A separate solar charger in the shape of a crystal ball

Ο called Beta.ey the same with the big Rawlemon sphere.

Beta-eyGerman designer Andre Bressel recently unveiled a giant crystal-filled sphere filled with water, which acts as a concentrator of solar energy watching the sun and focusing its radiation on a collector.

Many wondered if his proposal for a new centralized photovoltaic system could work. The answer comes in the form of a. Miniature of the same sphere, which not only works, but may be the most impressive solar charger ever presented.

The charger called Beta.ey uses the same technology as Rawlemon's big sphere, but its size is such that it can be placed in an office or near the window to receive sunlight.

Unlike other small-sized solar chargers that need a relatively large surface of solar cells to power a cell phone or other small devices, Beta.ey focuses the radiation on a tiny solar cell with a diameter of just one centimeter.

The giant crystal sphere, which acts as a concentrator of solar energy watching the sun and focusing its radiation on a collector.

Bressel argues that the system, which includes a door USB for direct charging as well 27,5 watts for storage, it can fully charge a smartphone one and a half times a day. It can also function as a decorative lamp thanks to two small ones LED Beta.ey is included in the Rawlemon Resource Pooling Campaign in Indiegogo for the big solar sphere, where Bressel aspires to raise 120.000 dollars by March. The enthusiast of the two devices promises to send in the next June the first such chargers to those who support it by giving 149 dollars and more.
