Today, at report IFA in Berlin, TCL announced the global availability of the BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition a moderately upgraded device characteristics.
The BlackBerry KEYone Black Edition features a modest appearance, with μνήμη RAM increased from 3GB to 4GB, and the storage space from 32GB reached 64GB. All other features of the device are the same.
Although the device does not have anything that puts it on the high end, it is undoubtedly beautiful. Let's say that Black Edition has already been sold in India (several months ago). It is worth noting that the Indian version was not manufactured by TCL, but by a local manufacturer called Optiemus.
The Optiemus edition that has been running for months in India, supports dual SIM cards, while the global version does not.
The keyONE is a nice device and the fact that TCL (the company behind BlackBerry) is releasing a special edition is another sign that there is still life in the commercial signal BlackBerry, as well as the willingness to present new things.
Of course the company's friends, it would be good to see the surprise at some point.
If you were disappointed with the features, you can wait for the next Android-powered BlackBerry device. Not yet named, but TCL reports that it will have a touchscreen (without a keyboard) which makes sense if you notice the trend of the market.
If you want to get KEYone Black Edition, you can choose it from abroad, as the mobile will be originally released in the UK, France, Germany, Canada, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia from € 649 / £ 549 / $ 799 CAD / 2.299 AED / 79.800 JPY respectively.
TCL also says it will release the Black Edition to other Asian, European and Latin American markets later this year, though it did not specify what.
