BMW X2City: The new foldable electric her X2City scooter BMW is a landmark product of the company in many ways. It will be the first BMW product to be sold and serviced outside of BMW's global dealer network.
BMW seems to want to address the secondary issue transports in her vehicles for some time now. In 2012, it had announced a folding electric bike called the i Pedelec, but for some reason it failed commercially.
The BMW X2City, which can be fitted to the rear of your car, is powered by a Marquardt 408 Wh Lithium Ion Battery that is designed to be easily removed.
We do not know whether this ease of battery removal will make it easy for the thieves, or how easy it is to lock X2City somewhere on the road.
Disc brakes are high quality parts from Magura although there is no suspension. The tires have a high profile and are designed in such a way as to absorb road abnormalities.
The new X2City can reach 25 km per hour and one charge is enough from 25 to 35 kilometers. BMW claims its size when folded is smaller than a folding bike.
Let's mention that BMW manufactures 1945 bikes, 1929 cars and 1923 bikes.
Although it has not been determined price of the vehicle so far, BMW says the X2City won't sell for less than €2.500 when it goes on sale in Christmas 2017.
