On Wednesday, the UK Department of Justice confirmed that its website, justice.gov.uk, was down after a attack distributed denial-of-Service (DDOS) received.
The launch of the government website was announced on Twitter.

The downtime cheats said they attacked the Ministry of Justice website because they do not condemn NSA's surveillance operations.
Some users, however, criticized hackers for this attack, arguing that they should not exclude public access to legal services.
Right now the Justice Ministry's website appears to be working properly.
His website at the Ministry of Justice was not the only one to receive a DDOS attack on Wednesday. The GCHQ website also stopped working for the same reason.
