A new emulator (emulator) Wii U has been released for the Windows platform. It is called Cemu and is now freely available to anyone who wants to download it.
If you are a fan of the Wii U platform and you happen to have a Windows 7 or higher operating system with X64, then you are lucky. The Wii simulator Cemu just released, and is capable of running commercial games. But they are not all rosy. Keep in mind that hardware hardware used in the Wii U is not the same as the one running on this kind of emulators, especially with regard to the CPU. This means that emulators developers have the hard work of building the game on different hardware and this work is much more difficult than the emulator itself.
Some of you may remember the PlayStation 2 emulators, but they were unable to perform the games well. It was not the fact that the PlayStation 2 emulators were not extremely powerful, it was that the Playstation 2 was using a strange processor.
The same is true for the Wii U, which has a CPU / GPU solution but for now, the performance of the game will not be the best. We hope it will improve in the future.
The creator of Cemu states that he will update the app every two weeks and that many of the issues that exist now will be fixed later. These include the lack of controller support, which makes it unsuitable for the time being.
According to the manufacturer, the application can run Wii U encrypted images (wud) and RPX / RPL files, supports up to 1920 × 1080 resolution, has no optimizations, and requires at least Windows 7 X64 or higher. It has only been tested on Nvidia and Intel hardware, where it is recommended as a hardware. Also, there is no sound. We told you that not everything is rosy.
The question, of course, is that we can find encrypted Wii U images (wud) and RPX / RPL files. This, unfortunately, is in a rather gray area, as it could be legal in some countries and other illegal ones.
You can download Cemu 1,0 now by github και να πάρετε πληροφορίες installations from here.
