Johnny Hughes has announced the availability of an update CentOS, a Linux distribution built from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) source code.
The new version is called CentOS 8.4.2105 and comes from RHEL 8.4:
"We are pleased to announce the general availability of the latest version of CentOS Linux 8. It is the current version for CentOS Linux 8 and is labeled 2105, which is derived from the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.4 source code.
The updates that have been released concern all architectures.
We strongly recommend that every user install all updates, on their existing CentOS Linux 8 machine with the command 'dnf Update'.
This release adds the following new software releases to module streams: Python 3.9, SWIG 4.0, Subversion 1.14, Redis 6, PostgreSQL 13, MariaDB 10.5.
Several rolling AppStream have been upgraded to newer versions: LLVM Toolset 11.0.0, Rust Toolset 1.49.0, Go Toolset 1.15.7. "
