If you are tired of the white color of Microsoft Office applications then you can darken it through the suite settings.
Those of you who like to work at night with low light then definitely the all-white one background of Microsoft Office it is very tiring on the eyes. You can change it if you open any application of the suite, say from Word, and go to File > Options.
In the General tab, somewhere in the middle you will find an option window titled "Office theme". Click the down arrow and 3 options will appear. "White", "Light gray", "Dark gray".
Choose “Dark Grey”, press the OK button and the change in theme will be applied to all applications of Office.
The choice is also available for the 2013 and 2016 suites. The dark gray theme is no doubt much easier to use, especially if you are working on large documents, spreadsheets or presentation.
See below for the dark gray option version 2016.
