The Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate filed a case file against 55hronian, who was accused of pornography of minors via Internet.
In particular, after digital analysis information material, it emerged that the 55-year-old was visiting various child pornography websites, while at the same time participating in virtual communication rooms (chat), claiming that he had sexually abused children.
Also, as it emerged, he sent a sum of money to a foreign country, via courier, as a contribution to by clicking here pedophiles.
Additionally, the Electronic Crime Prosecution Directorate was informed by a US Customs Crime Electronic Crime Center. (ICE) that 55, after changing its email address, has sent thirty-nine (39) child pornography photos to third parties.
Investigations carried out at 55rono's home and workplace in Trikala identified a computer hard drive and a memory card, which were sent to forensic laboratories for further examination, and the preliminary material was submitted to the Prosecutor's Office of Trikala.
17-01-2015 55 was arrested in Patras, as he was charged with the arrest warrant by the Prosecutor's Office of Trikala ( related by 17-01-2015 Press Release of the GDR Of Western Greece) .
A search of the laptop in his possession found (12.031) files of child pornography, totaling more than 3,5 Gigabyte storage space.
55 was taken to the appropriate prosecution authorities and, after execution of the arrest warrant, he was jailed.
