Η Βανέσσα, μόνο εντυπωσιασμένη δηλώνει από το ταξίδι: «Το συνέδριο είχε διάρκεια πέντε μέρες. Το θέμα ήταν "A better internet with you (th)". Ημασταν παιδιά από 31 χώρες! Για τον Νικόλα, μαθητή του 5ου Λυκείου Λάρισας, τα αρχικά κίνητρα εμπλοκής του στο Safer Internet, δεν ήταν τόσο... αγαθά: «Ημουν Α΄ λυκείου και συμμετείχα σε κάποιες δράσεις για το ασφαλές Διαδίκτυο, επειδή ήθελα να χάσω μάθημα. Μετά, κόλλησα». Πλέον «μπορώ να πλησιάσω πιο εύκολα τους συνομήλικούς μου, να τους ενημερώσω, ενώ συμμετέχω σε δράσεις για σχολεία. Φέτος, εκπροσώπησα το σχολείο μου στο συνέδριο τη Μέρα Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου. Αργότερα, με κάλεσαν -όπως και τη Μαρίνα - να μιλήσω στη συνδιάσκεψη του Ζαππείου.

Συμμετέχουν στην on line διαβούλευση, Youth Manifesto, με στόχο την ψήφιση από το Ευρωκοινοβούλιο των καλύτερων εθνικών προτάσεων των εφήβων σχετικά με το future of the internet. Ο ρόλος των παιδιών είναι εξαιρετικά σημαντικός. Οσο για τα benefits; They learn to express their opinion, engage in debate, face an audience."
