The Chrome team has announced the launch of Chrome 96 on the fixed channel for Windows, Mac and Linux. Chrome 96 will also be released via the new static channel that offers extensive support for Windows and Mac. The new version will be released in the coming days / weeks.
Chrome 96.0.4664.45 comes with many fixes and improvements (the list of all changes is available at archive recording (log). In the coming days there will be more posts on the Chrome and Chromium blog about the new features of version 96.
The details for the errorthey are not announced yet, until the majority of users have updated their app. Every bug that exists in some third-party library that other projects depend on, and has not yet been fixed, is also unreported.
