Once it starts it will show you in a column on the left all the connected devices. The list is not updated automatically, but only manually. For each storage device included in the sidebar it lists the name, size, temperature, date speed / lifetime, status and activation times.
Just select one of the devices shown in the sidebar and you will see additional information in the main area. The program helps users by highlighting the important and critical parts of the information using a code colors and symbols.
Critical and important information such as device temperature, power-on times, reallocated sectors or predicted failure are highlighted with icons (yellow and red) and it's a good idea to start looking at those values first.
The information marked in green indicates that it is OK and that you do not need to worry about it.
The Clear Disk Info menu includes options to check disks for errors, repair them, and optimize them. It has shortcuts linked to these options for even faster access. Information can be exported to a archive text.
