ClipClip is a free clipboard tracking tool that has a built-in word processor and image, but also an incredible range of other features. ClipClip is a free clipboard tool, ie it is like the Windows Clipboard, which in addition to the classic data storage, also has a built-in word and image editor and several goodies. We refer to ClipClip again when in this article we analyzed what the Clipboard is and how it works in Windows 10. Just like the Windows Clipboard, ClipClip can and does save anything you've done in a temporary space copy (copy) so you can easily use it when you need it (paste). It runs on Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 on both architectures, 32 and 64-bit. To install it you need to download the executable .exe file from here and do it installation normally. When you run ClipClip for the first time, it prompts you to specify a set of folders to store the various clips. This is optional but also useful for your organization. From there, whatever you copy will go to ClipClip and the Windows Clipboard. You will understand its usefulness immediately, from the plethora of features it has compared to the Windows Clipboard which is literally very poor. You will easily get used to its home screen. The sidebar displays your clips and folders. Selecting a section displays the clips contained in it in the right part of the window. Each clip has a title derived from the copied content. The program also states the type of clip, ie text, HTML, Image, etc., which shows you in what format it was saved. You can change them from the context menu. Double-clicking on a clip will show it in the built-in clip editor. The clips you edit here are automatically saved every ten seconds. Image Editor can be used to resize, rotate, rotate images, adjust opacity, adjust colors, view histogram, work with layers, apply various effects, borders, and more. By right-clicking on a clip, you can paste it with or without formatting or simply the title or source of the clip. This menu has options to delete the clip, save it, rename it, change its format to TXT or RTF or HTML, open it with another application, etc. For txt texts it has a translator that can automatically translate your texts before pasting them to the point you want. It supports several languages, including Greek. The program uses Google Translate for this feature. The “Apply action” are really helpful. They allow you to convert text from lowercase to uppercase or vice versa, capitalize the first letter, a single sentence, reverse text, sort alphabetically, remove spaces or underscores, and count letters or words from text . This is what you see directly in the Apply action. But scroll down using the wheel and this menu expands for many more options, such as converting the clip to or from Base 64, converting to MD5 hash, Encoding / Decoding URLs or HTML, searching the web, Tweeting, translating using Google, Bing or DeepL, send to pastebin, Ένας δυνατός sound clicks indicate that new content has been saved, while a lighter click indicates that previously saved content has been copied again. Sound effects can be turned off if they bother you. When closing the program, a pop-up notification will appear with options either to exit the program or to minimize it. Briefly We would not say that ClipClip is a Clipboard. There are a lot of other things that are based on the Clipboard. You will definitely love it if you like searching and digging in front of you. But if you use your computer only for secretarial work, do not bother with it as the Windows clipboard is more than enough for you. Watch a presentation video below: https://vimeo.com/158552996
