The organizing team of the Festival welcomes proposals for speeches, workshops and exhibits for the 2 Festival of Commonwealth to be held from 9 to 11 May in Heraklion, Crete.
CommonsFest is an initiative to promote free and peer-to-peer knowledge cooperationς για τη δημιουργία και τη διαχείριση των κοινών. Μια φιλοσοφία που έχει διαδοθεί πολύ μέσα από τις κοινότητες του ελεύθερου λογισμικού και επεκτείνεται σε πολλές πτυχές της καθημερινότητάς μας, όπως στις τέχνες, στην διαgovernment, in the manufacture of machinery, tools and other goods.
At the 2 Festival we want to present how the practices and experiences of Open Source, Creative Commons and Peer Management (P2P) can build a platform to meet a whole range of needs.
For example:
- -housing, food, clothing, water
- -Government, knowledge and education, arts, communication
- -tools, information, energy, transport.
