European distinction for the Greek company Crypteia Networks and the ESF

The cooperation of the Greek company Crypteia Networks, a start-up specializing in Threat Intelligence Platform (MOREAL), and the National Documentation Center (ECB) has been recognized as a good business support practice, claiming one of this year's Enterprise Europe Network Awards, the largest European Network for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Crypteia Networks was one of the three finalists in the New Success category of this year's network awards, which are given to successful companies utilizing the services of the Enterprise Europe Network.

H Crypteia Networks (www.crypteianetworks.com) has developed an innovative identification and detection of cyberattacks, which enables its customers to optimize their lines of defense and identify the cyberthreats to which they are exposed. Within a short period of time Crypteia Networks managed to demonstrate over 120 implementations in Europe and America as well as to promote two patents in America (US Patent & Trademark Office).

The National Documentation Center (www.ekt.gr), the driving force behind innovation and entrepreneurship, and the Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas (www.enterprise-hellas.gr), actively supports high-tech start-ups in our country and provides value-added services. In total, 3 Awards were awarded: In the "New Markets" category (New ) the prize was awarded to the British company Rokos Design and the Czech glass manufacturer Sklarna Novosad & Sun Harrachov, whose collaboration with the support of the network led to a new technology and lower production costs. In the "New Success" category, the prize was awarded to the Hungarian company Ateknea Solutions Hungary LLC and the Spanish Virtual Solutions, who collaborated to develop an interactive tablet computer for people with visual impairment. In the "New Horizons" category, the award, which concerns small and medium-sized enterprises that develop using events and missions of the Enterprise Europe Network, was awarded to the German company TMTM and Campervan Rental Service, with the mediation of the Chamber of Arcadia and the PRAXI Network (partners of the Enterprise Europe Network-Hellas). TMTM's participation in the Mission for Growth event in Athens in 2013 led to three cooperation agreements for the development of cycling tourism and for the German company to undertake the marketing of the Greek company's services in the Peloponnese.
