Enterprise of Electronic Crime Prosecution for Live Suspicion of Material of Sexual Abuse of Minors upon Payment
The identification data of five Internet users involved, within the Greek territory, as well as a company
They made paypal payments to view live streaming material of sexual abuse of minors from the Philippines
Two of the officers involved are police officers who, by decision of the Hellenic Police Force Headquarters, were placed in a position to order and were ordered to conduct a joint administrative inquiry
The Cybercrime Prosecution Directorate of the Hellenic Police carried out yesterday (19.06.2014) morning, simultaneous police operations - investigations, in the presence of court officials, in Athens, Thessaloniki and Agrinio and specifically in the homes of five locals, aged 26, 27, 34 , 39 and 65 years old, who are involved in a case of live transmission of child sexual abuse material upon payment.
It was preceded by an update by Interpol on the identification of six internet users in Greece who were involved in the case.
More specifically, those involved made payments, through a Paypal account, in exchange for the provision of live streaming (live streaming - custom-made abuse in real time) of child sexual abuse material from the Philippines.
From the digital analysis that followed, the identity data of the (5) involved users within the Greek territory were identified, while it was found that the data of the sixth user belong to a company, whose headquarters and details have not yet been determined.
Within the framework of the coordinated police investigations carried out at the homes of the parties, storage media were seized and confiscated, namely:

three external hard drives, an internal hard drive, and a portable computer were found and seized at the 39 home
-
a portable computer, at 27's home
-
an internal hard drive, at 65's home
-
a portable computer, at the 34 home and
-
an internal hard drive, at 26's home.
In the cases of 39, 34 and 26, the payer was identified as a paypal account, the calendar dates at issue and Interpol is expected to send the material in question as well as the money credited through the paypal payment to the perpetrators which were based in the Philippines.
In the cases of 27 and 65 chronos who were absent from their homes, the relevant identification is expected to be determined by examining the seized evidence.
Two of those involved (26-year-old and 34-year-old) are police officers, who serve in Attica services. By Decision of the Hellenic Police Headquarters, they were made available and a Sworn Administrative Examination was ordered.
The papers that have been formed will be submitted appropriately, while the seized electronics will be sent to the Criminal Investigation Division and the Criminal Investigation Division of Northern Greece for laboratory analysis.
