Thirty complaints about offenses child pornography 2014 has been filed with the police and 23 has been the last year, the Cypriot police spokesman, Andreas Angelidis, reported in the latest 14 complaint.
For 14's case, Mr. Angelidis said that, according to what she complained, she had met a person through Facebook's social networking page and contacted him.
As it was established, this person had created a Facebook account with data which did not correspond to reality.
According to the 14-year-old, he had threatened her and had sent him ten photos.
Police investigations showed that the Facebook account was running a 17 man who was arrested while two laptop computers were confiscated, from which there appeared to be a number of photos, particularly minor girls, of the preliminary examinations.
Regarding the questioning of the 17-year-old, Angelidis pointed out that he has appeared in court and an arrest warrant has been secured, noting that from the investigations that followed and as the arrested person also testified, the specific account is also managed by another person, his friend from Greece.
He said that Interpol Greece will be informed about the issue and noted that the two computers will be directly promoted for investigations, so that the Police can see through a detailed examination the number of photographs that exist, since at first sight they appear to be in these photos of underage girls.
