The fashion of Selfie has appeared in the last three years but as people become more and more daring in their quest to capture the perfect self portrait to share online, there are more and more photo stories of young people being seriously injured or killed.
Do you think strange or too all of this? Let's take a closer look at the numbers.
Zachary Crockett from Priceonomics has recently presented a series of charts that offer a clearer picture of where and how they happen Selfie deaths. After searching and researching the news over 3 years, it found that 49 people have died trying to take a selfie from 2014 to the present, that 75% of the victims are men, and that the average age is just 21 years old.

As you can see, there are no reports of a death from Sefie that concerns people over the age of 32. And although women tend to pull more seals than men, men are the ones most at risk.
But let's look at an analysis below on how victims died:
Three are the main causes of these accidental deaths in the effort of a sect. In turn is the fall from high heights, the second drowning in water and third from the train.
Crockett also found that India is overwhelmingly the country where most deaths occur, with 19 deaths (or 40% of the total). One of the main causes there is drowning. Russia and the USA with 7 and 5, respectively. Recall that Russia was alarmed by these deaths, and launched a campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of sefie in July of 2015.
Fortunately, in Greece, we have no victim of this attitude, not at least officially, but do not think we are immune to it, for peoples with the same temperament as us, like Italy, have mourned a victim.
