The developers of the Debian project have announced the release of Debian releases GNU / Linux 8.4 and Debian GNU/Linux 7.10 “Wheezy.”
Η version Debian GNU/Linux 8.4 “Jessie” is the fourth update of the latest stable series of the famous operating system, and it comes as an update, for all users running Debian GNU/Linux 8.3 “Jessie” or earlier versions.
On the other hand, Debian GNU / Linux 7.10 “Wheezy” is only for those who use the old stable version of the Debian operating system.
So if you're running Debian 7.9 or some previous version, you can update your system with the command:
“This update mainly adds security fixes to the old fixed version, along with some fixes for serious issues. Security updates had already been released separately, ”the announcements of the new releases said.
