Yesterday we announced Dell's admission of its existence eDellRoot and the company's promise to remove it with some software update.
We list below two different ways to remove the certificate that compromises Dell computers where it exists.
If you are using one of the company's computers before proceeding it would be a good idea to test if your system contains it certificate which has caused all this disturbance. How;

If your system contains eDellRoot use it tool the company's removal tool for automatic uninstall.
If you still want to do this manually, follow these steps:
Open the certificate manager by searching your system for certmgr.msc. Open the app from the Results.
The "eDellRoot" certificate can be found at the "Trusted Root Certificate Authorities". From there you can delete it.
However, you should also delete the Dell.Foundation.Agent.Plugins.eDell.dll file,
