A woman from Perth, Australia called Chantelle, bet yesterday in the Melbourne Cup horse races on the horse Prince Of Penzance and won the bet which had odds of 1 to 100. The final amount her horse was worth was $825.
Out of her joy for the unexpected winnings, she shared a selfie with the lucky ticket to two of her friends on Facebook. But what he didn't think about is that the photo that was now traveling uncontrollably on the internet showed the linear codes of lachnos.
That's what somebody, unknown for the time being, saw the photo and took out a copy of the prize by claiming and grabbing her winnings from the racecourse.
According to Triple M the police suspects that they will be able to trace the traces of the unscrupulous (but intelligent) thief.
