Dolphins use fish that produce toxins to become "high"

A new of the BBC presents us with a behavior of teenage dolphins that was unknown to us until now. Young dolphins munching on puffer fish. Nothing weird so far. But these fish secrete a toxin that "dizzes" the young dolphins.

The upcoming BBC documentary shows young male dolphins hanging around a puffer fish before they start behaving "strangely." The producer of the proof (Spy in the Pod) John Downer points out that dolphins in this way come to ecstasy, according to TheVerge.

Dolphins are not the first animals to be caught using "drugs." For many years, the effects of intoxication from the consumption of fermented apples have been observed.
The BBC video was able to shoot using a remote-controlled camera dressed in something sea (tuna, turtle, squid) to film the animals without disturbing them.
