The platform comicAmazon-owned Comixology is offering a wide selection of Marvel's Black Panther comics for free, at least for this weekend.
The unannounced free offer was noticed by tweeters and Redditors, without Comixology or Amazon making any announcement. Many Marvel comics related to the fantastic African country of Wakanda, where the hero Black Panther is located, are available for free.
The free offer coming a weekteam following the untimely death of Chadwick Boseman, the actor who played King T'Challa in the 2018 film Black Panther, as well as other Marvel Cinematic Universe films. Boseman suffered from colon cancer, battled the disease for four years and sadly passed away on August 28, 2020.
Marvel joined the Comixology Unlimited subscription service in 2017, giving subscribers access to some of the biggest comics in its history. Members pay $5,99 per month for unlimited access to over 25.000 titles provided by Comixology, sourced from Companies Marvel, DC, Dark Horse and other independent publishers.
