Microsoft with the release of Windows 8 has brought some pre-installed applications that provide basic features such as news reading, e-mail opening, or photo management.
The company continues to add more applications to every major version of the operating system and there are now some 20 different basic applications installed in the operating system from its very first startup.
These applications are regularly updated just like other applications with company updates.
Usually a visit to your Windows Store on your computer will allow you to download and install the updates. Sometimes it may not be that easy.
For example, there is no direct way to download these updates to offline computers Internet. System administrators who need to update multiple systems may also want to download them only once so that they do not have to download them continuously to each computer.
