A video posted on Liveleak earlier today displays an unmanned aircraft (drone) to collide with a Southwest Airlines flight as she takes off from New York City Airport by cutting the elevated edge of the airplane wing.
The video went viral through him Twitter but no such thing happened. There was no drone and it was not found on the wing of the plane. Never!
If you check the wing closely, you will see the address (URL) www.branit.com, which of course does not belong to an airline, but to an optical designer effects from Kansas. The VFX designer who started all this is called Bruce Branit.
The designer told TNW that he doesn't know how the video left and ended up on Liveleak, as he had shared it through his company's page on YouTube.
Now the video on YouTube is private.
