Microsoft has finally released the 88.0.705.50 update for the Edge browser.
it is about a new edition with some changes (removed FTP and Flash support), many innovations and various security fixes.
As we mentioned in previous publication η Google first updated the Chrome browser to version 88.0.4324.96 on January 19, 2021 for Linux, macOS, and Windows. 36 were fixed vulnerabilities, one of which was critical. Now Microsoft follows with Edge 88.0.705.50.
As of January 21, 2021, Microsoft published the security issues in the Security Advisory ADV200002. The new Edge closes the following security gaps:

The browser should be updated automatically. At release notes, Microsoft states which ones possibilities have been removed (FTP, Adobe Flash) and what has been added in the new Edge 88.
