According to Bangkok Post ένας 28 χρονος πέθανε ενώ φόρτιζε το iPhone του. Το ατύχημα έγινε στην περιοχή Klaeng Rayong μια συνοικία στο ανατολικό τμήμα της επαρχίας Rayong, της ανατολικής Ταϊλάνδης. Η τοπική αστυνομία έδωσε το name of the unfortunate 28-year-old (Pisit Charnglek).
His father, Chaleaw Charnglek, said his son usually spoke to him and so did not matter the cry they heard during 23: 00 on Sunday.
The next morning, the unfortunate young man was found dead, holding his iPhone in his bare chest with severe burns in his hand.
The police who arrived at the scene concluded that he was killed "by an electric shock caused by the charger of the phone.”
It's not clear if the charger he was using was genuine Apple or an imitation.
In a similar case that was reported just a few months ago, a Chinese flight attendant Ma Aliun died of an electric shock with iPhone 5 but then Apple confirmed that it was using a charger that was not genuine.
