Microsoft published today a reminder for the upcoming end of support date (EOS from end of support) of Windows 10 version 21H2.
This version has been released in 2021 on November 16 and it reaches the end of support exactly one month from now, on June 13th. This means that the Windows 10 21H2 they will no longer be able to receive quality updates or critical updates security, like Patch Tuesday.
So Microsoft will start pushing forced updates to Windows 22 version 2H10 or Windows 21 version 2H11.
The company says:
“On June 13, 2023, Home, Pro, Pro Education, and Pro for Workstations editions of Windows 10, version 21H2 will reach end of support. The next one information The June 2023 security patch, which will be released on June 13, 2023, will be the last available update for these versions. After this date, devices running this version will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates that contain protections for the latest threats.
As always, we recommend that you update your devices to the latest version of Windows 10 or upgrade eligible devices to Windows 11.”
Microsoft recently announced that Windows 10 22H2 is the last version of Windows 10 to reach EOS in October 2025.
