During the COVID-19 crisis there has been an increase in the number of digital threats, and it is vital that EU countries are equipped with the tools and resources needed to protect citizens and systems from all possible threats. ESET Threat Intelligence offers timely and up-to-date information about specific threats and attack sources, gathered from 110 millions users around the world in order to provide information about the threat landscape.
Access to ESET Threat Intelligence will allow CERT teams to monitor potential threats to reduce the risk of an attack and strengthen their defenses. Collective effort is an essential part of threat analysis and response, and in this context ESET has contacted 46 CERT teams across the EU for cooperation. The initial response is positive and several initiatives are already being implemented.
