Microsoft plans to release Windows 11 in version 23H2 later this year. The update will be a feature update, which will bring benefits and perhaps some frustrations for users of the operating system.
Windows 23 version 2H11 will be released to users' systems as an activation pack. Windows users running Windows 10 will remember these packages, as the last updates for Windows 10 were all activation packages. Recall that Microsoft's attitude to Windows 10 has not changed: the operating system will not receive any more updates of new features until the end of support – in October 2025.
Microsoft employee Jason Leznek he revealed that the company plans to release Windows 11 version 23H2 in the fourth quarter of 2023. After that, administrators will be able to install the new Windows update through Windows Server Update Services, Windows Update for Business, or Windows Automatic Update .
