The largest four-day pilot program will soon be launched in the UK, with more than 70 companies and 3.300 employees ready to join.
The test will not lead to a loss of pay for employees, based on the principle of the model 100:80:100. Employees will receive 100 percent of the paycheck for 80 percent of the time in exchange for their commitment to maintain 100 percent productivity.
There is an impressive list of companies participating in the trial from a wide range of sectors including; banks, online retail, IT software training companies, animation studios, hospitality and many more.
The pilot project will last six months and is organized by 4 Day Week Global in partnership with leading think tank Autonomy, the 4 Day Week UK Campaign and researchers from the Universities of Cambridge, Oxford and Boston College.
Researchers will work with each participating organization to measure the impact of the four-day week on business productivity, employee well-being, environmental impact and gender equality. two gender.
The four-day trial, supported by the UK government, will begin later this year in Spain and Scotland.
