The Facebook announced today the release of an updated version of its implementation that will help combat it fake news.
Although the original purpose of the update is obviously the new improved features, the new app also has a completely new functionality: Displays which of your friends are distributing false news.
The new update, first tested last year, gives users an extra feature for new news releases.
Clicking on the "i" icon next to the story header will display other related articles and a map showing how the story got to your news feed, and by whom. This means that if you come across a story that you do not believe so much, you will be able to see which of your friends have already shared it.

According to Facebook developers, the original idea came from the "Related Articles" that you can find below the posts in your news feed.
