Although not visible to all users yet, Facebook tries to add GIF and attachment buttons.
During the duration of the last days some users have noticed that when they open a Facebook chat window, two news icons they appear next to the old ones (photo, stickers and likes), which now appear to the right of the window instead of to the left. Let's look at what we describe above:
To understand this is the old chat window (which may still apply to you):
Clicking on the GIF icon will display a list of randomly selected GIF files, as well as a search box that shows a search for "GIFS and stickers in all applications".
This is of course very interesting, as so far the application reportedly only supports mobile devices and today's update says nothing about it. But it could be indicative of future features to come.
Η support GIF is also notable since even on mobile, you'll need to download a separate full-featured app like Giphy before you can search and share them. pictures Gif.
Adding the new button no longer requires software to share GIFs in your conversations.
The same goes for attachments. In fact, you can already attach any kind files in Facebook chat, but you have to first click on the gear icon and then select “Add files”. It's possible that too many users aren't using the feature as they don't know it's available.
