Facebook will begin to support GIF animation worldwide in the coming days.
The GIFs reportedly don't start automatically though, driving them crazy users of the largest social network especially those who have limited internet data (volume charge) on their device.
Each GIF image that will appear on the timeline your will be covered by one button which will say “GIF.” By clicking on it you will be able to start it animation.
This feature is currently not fully supported for all users, but once it was announced we will soon see it on our "walls".
To share a GIF file on your schedule or within a comment, simply copy and paste the animated link (it has a .gif extension) to the point you want.
