Facebook new add-on for branding pages

Facebook today announced a new feature designed to increase the visibility of the platform's pages.

Publishers, starting today, can add multiple logos as shown below. These logos will appear next to anything published by the page, but only in the Custom and " … currently.Facebook

The reason she appeared now, according to Facebook, is that if you ask someone who has read the news they will tell you on … on Facebook, although Facebook does not publishes news except for press releases at his official blog.

A by Pew Research claims that only 56% of respondents could remember the source of an article when they clicked on a link from social networking sites.

Though it's a small change, anything that increases the visibility to publishers is always welcome. It remains to be seen whether this will have an effect on the end user remembering the source of the content when published on social networks.
