Facebook just announced a new feature that will let you send money to friends through the app Messenger.

"Today we added a new feature to Messenger, which will give you a more comfortable and safe way to send or receive money from friends. This feature will roll out in the coming months in the US. It's easy too free.
To send money:
- Start sending a message to a friend
- Press it icon and enter the amount you want to send
- Click Pay in the top right corner and add your debit card to send money
To receive money:
- Open the conversation from your friend
- Tap Customcase card in the message and add your debit card to accept money for the first time
The money sent is transferred immediately. You may need one to three business days to receive your money according to the bank you use, just as with your other deposits.
