Facebook today announced some changes to the way it will handle them video in your News Feed.
In the past, videos were categorized according to certain actions. For example, if a video was live, if you had to turn on the sound, or if you could open it in full-screen view.
Today's announcement seems to add another category: "Percent completion."
The completion rate is exactly what it sounds like, the timeline space that you watch each video before closing it and continuing your browsing to others data of σελίδαs.
The higher the completion rate, the more you see the video in the News Feed of others as the content is rather exciting.
How will your page change affect? We will see it in practice, but according to Facebook most pages will not notice any significant change.
This change can be announced today, but it will not be seen by all users of the social network, as it will begin to move gradually.
The reason for the gradual release of the new modes is that it should be monitored. Once it is found to be working without any unforeseen issues it will be released to all users.
