Fasetto Link: Storing files on portable drives takes time and effort. Flash drives, microSD cards, external hard drives - which can have large capacity, or faster write speeds, again require time and effort.
They require a card reader or a cable. Sometimes even laptop you can't read a specific one card.
Fasetto, is a Wisconsin cloud startup that tries to resolve all of the above. Today, he presented an incredible device at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2016) taking place in Las Vegas. The device is called Link, and it's really incredible.
It is small, cube-shaped and can store up to 2TB wirelessly. It has its own operating system, a quad-core ARM processor, and 4GB RAM.
Any device that supports Wi-Fi or Bluetooth can use the Link through a special application or from the device's web browser.
Fasetto's cube allows up to 20 connections, and can stream to 7 devices simultaneously – without requiring mobile data telephone!
This means on-the-go users can leave cables, adapters, and cards in their drawer. The device is lined with aluminum and anti-shock plastic making it durable enough for travel.
The Fasetto Link is expected to be commercially available at the end of 2016 according to VB.
