The Mozilla Foundation just updated the Firefox browser. The hasty update for all GNU / Linux, Mac OS X and Microsoft Windows operating systems was not accidental. The new stable version is currently Firefox 36.0.3 and you can download it through the built-in upgrade tool to repair enough security kits.Firefox 36.0.3

The third upgrade to the fixed version of Firefox 36.0 came to define a total of eight security vulnerabilities that have been revealed during the Pwn2Own contest. You can read more about the contest here and here.

Among the immediate security code updates developed for security version 36.0.3 include the simplified GeckoEditable exception messages, a null JSONObject that can no longer be used in SiteIdentity.update (), the Message instances will no longer be recycled, and mozharness.json updated to version 75c435ef19ca.
