Ο Firefox is a very good browser that supports several plugins and has many settings and tricks. Usually for these features, you use it by developers. Like any other powerful tool, it supports hotkeys to improve its usability and to speed up some regular browsing activities.
Below you will find several hotkeys that will make your life easier.
Navigation
There are three navigation shortcuts that you can use daily.
Alt + Home - open the home page
Alt + Left arrow - go to the previous page.
Alt + right arrow - go to the next page.
Bookmarks
To add a page to your bookmark, use the following shortcuts:
Ctrl + D – add the current page to bookmarks.
To quickly open bookmarks in a window, use the keys Ctrl + B
Tabs
Ctrl + T - open a new tab.
Ctrl + W - close the active tab. Ctrl + F4 does the same.
Ctrl + Tab - switch to the next tab.
Ctrl + Shift + Tab - switch for the previous tab.
Ctrl + Shift + T - Opening recently closed tabs. Each time you click on this shortcut, one of the previously closed tabs will open.
Additional useful hotkeys
Ctrl + F - find the text on the active page. the F3 does the same.
F6 - focus switching between the address bar and the content of the page Alt + D also does the same.
F11 – switch between mode full screens.
Ctrl + L - activate the address bar.
Ctrl + E – activate the search text box on the Dianetwork.
Ctrl + H - open your browsing history.
Ctrl + J - open the Download manager
Ctrl + Shift + A - open the add-ons manager.
Ctrl + N - open a new window.
Ctrl + Shift + P - open a new private browser window.
Ctrl + S – save it by clicking here.
Ctrl + P - print the web page.
Ctrl + '+'- zoom in on the web page.
Ctrl + '-'- shrink the site.
Ctrl + 0 - reset the zoom level to 100%.
F5 - renews the website.
Ctrl + F5 - dynamic website renewal.
Ctrl + Shift + Del - immediately shows the Clear History dialog.
